Kristina Burja is the founder of Krie Design, a successful Croatian fashion brand. The brand is known for its commitment to sustainable fashion and development, as well as its unique design that combines specific cuts, intricate handcrafting, and detailed finishes.
Krie Design is one of the featured designers at Green Fashion Week, supported by GD MAJOR Entertainment Milan in partnership with Fashion Service Association (FSA) and under the patronage of the United Nations. In previous years, Krie Design has presented its collections at the Abu Dhabi Fashion Sustainability Experience in 2016, and at Green Fashion Week events in Sanremo, Milan, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Rome, Sasso San Gottardo, Algarve in Portugal and during the Mediterranean Sea Tour. Krie Design was the first sustainable brand invited to showcase its designs at Arab Fashion Week in Dubai in 2018, 2019, and 2021.
Throughout all stages of production, Krie Design uses sustainable materials and textiles, continuously contributing to waste reduction and energy conservation. For Krie, sustainability means not only caring for the environment but also caring for people. This is evident through various collaborations such as the Krie x Provir project, which boasts two collections made from ECONYL® and publicly addresses the issue of discarded fishing nets, offering solutions to this environmental problem. Kristina is also one of the main founders of UNWASTED FORUM.

Kristina Burja è la fondatrice di Krie Design, un marchio di moda croato di successo. Il brand è conosciuto per il suo impegno verso la moda sostenibile e lo sviluppo, nonché per il suo design unico che unisce tagli particolari, lavorazioni artigianali e dettagli distintivi.
Krie Design è uno dei brand protagonisti della Green Fashion Week, sostenuta da GD MAJOR Entertainment di Milano in collaborazione con la Fashion Service Association (FSA) e sotto il patrocinio delle Nazioni Unite. Negli anni precedenti, Krie Design ha presentato le sue collezioni all’Abu Dhabi Fashion Sustainability Experience nel 2016, e in occasione della Green Fashion Week a Sanremo, Milano, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Roma, Sasso San Gottardo, Algarve in Portogallo e durante il Mediterranean Sea Tour. Krie Design è stato il primo brand sostenibile invitato a presentare le proprie creazioni all’Arab Fashion Week di Dubai nel 2018, 2019 e 2021.
Durante tutte le fasi della produzione, Krie Design utilizza materiali e tessuti sostenibili, contribuendo così costantemente alla riduzione dei rifiuti e al risparmio energetico. Per Krie, la sostenibilità non significa solo tutela dell’ambiente, ma anche attenzione verso le persone, come dimostrato da diverse collaborazioni, tra cui il progetto Krie x Provir, che vanta due collezioni realizzate in ECONYL® e affronta pubblicamente il problema delle reti da pesca abbandonate, proponendo soluzioni a questa criticità ambientale. Kristina è anche una delle principali fondatrici dell’UNWASTED FORUM.

Kristina Burja osnivačica je Krie Design-a, uspješnog hrvatskog modnog brenda. Brend je poznat po svojoj predanosti održivoj modi i razvoju, te svom jedinstvenom dizajnu u kombinaciji sa specifičnim krojevima, posebnom ručnom radu i detaljima.
Krie Design je jedan od dizajnera Green Fashion Weeka, koji je podržan od strane modne agencije GD MAJOR Entertainment Milan u partnerstvu sa Fashion Service Association (FSA), a sve pod pokroviteljstvom Ujedinjenih naroda. Prethodnih godina Krie Design je svoje kolekcije predstavljao na Abu Dhabi Fashion Sustainability Experience 2016. godine, na Green Fashion Weeku u San Remu, Milanu, Los Angelesu, Las Vegasu, Rimu, Sasso San Gottardu, Algavreu u Portugalu i na Mediterranean Sea Tour. Krie Design je prvi održivi brend pozvan da predstavi svoj dizajn na Arab Fashion Weeku u Dubaiju 2018., 2019., i 2021. godine.
Tijekom svih faza proizvodnje, Krie Design koristi održive materijale i tekstil te tako kontinuirano doprinosi smanjenju otpada i potrošnje energije. Održivost za Krie ne znači samo briga za okoliš već i briga za ljude, što je dokazala i kroz različite suradnje poput projekta Krie x Provir koji se diči s već dvije kolekcije od ECONYL®-a te javno progovara o problemu odbačenih ribarskih mreža i rješenja ovog ekološkog problema. Jedna je od glavnih osnivačica UNWASTED FORUMA.
